once you’ve layered every detail that you want to combine, save the entire thing as a PSD (so if you test it in game and see something you want to change, you don’t have to start over), then delete the template layer.ġ5. for example: if i wanted to add some freckles to the skin, i would complete steps 8 - 12, and my image would now look like this:ġ4.
(make sure you’re creating a new layer for each detail!) repeat steps 8 - 12 for each different skin details that you want to combine. now highlight the entire image, go back to the template, create a new layer, and paste (sometimes you have to move the image around so it fits in the right place). in the top left, click “image” then “image size” and type these numbers in:ġ2. sometimes you’ll need to change the image size so it will match the template. open the skin detail texture that you just exported.ġ1. now go back to photoshop (where you should have your template open). (i usually create a new folder to hold all these skin details).ġ0. with that skin detail open, click the green “export”. (i like to start with the main skin overlay first.). on the s4s main page, click “my projects” and find the first skin detail that you want to combine. open photoshop and paste the template into a new document.Ĩ.
